Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reviewed the winter Presidential parade of Navy Midshipman 2022/A and Direct Entry Officer (DEO) 2022/B batch at the Bangladesh Naval Academy in Chottogram on 22 December 2022 as the chief guest.
A total of 43 new officers including 37 midshipmen of the 2020/A batch and 6 direct entry officers of the 2022/B batch of the Bangladesh Navy were commissioned in the parade ceremony.
Mahmudun Nabi Joy, a former cadet of the 39th batch of Rangpur Cadet College won the CNS gold medal. Notably, this is the third gold medal from the 39th batch in military training, besides receiving a Sword of Honor from their batch. From the 39th Batch previously Tanvir Rahim won the Sword of Honor and the CAS gold medal from BMA whereas Efaz Rahman won the CNS gold medal from BNA.
